I never ended up sitting down to write out the Janvier story, but I always planned for it to be much darker than Monday remembers. Memories are funny like that, you know? She remembers the adventure and the excitement and the freedom and the story was always meant to be a darker, cautionary tale. That is, uh, not at all what she's describing here.
