Hi all!

Checking in post-comic finale and post-launch of reruns to let you know a few things I'm up to lately!

• First off, I'll be exhibiting at Rose City Comic Con this fall! It's my first time doing this convention since 2019 and I am SO excited to be back in Portland :) I'm not sure where I'll be in the Artist Alley as of yet, but when I find out I'll update the sidebar to the right of the comic with the exact location.
  
  
• Second, in connection to the upcoming convention, I've opened my tiny painting commission list for the summer! :) Folks who are interested in obtaining a tiny bespoke watercolor for pick-up can fill out their information on the attached google form and I'll get back to you shortly with a confirmation.
  
  
• Third, the world of social media has gotten really rocky in the last few months. If you'd like to keep tabs on me to see what I'm up to after completing Missing Monday, follow me for free on patreon or ko-fi! I'll be posting a FREE newsletter each month to both platforms to give folks a run down of what I'm up to and the art I've been making. While of course you're welcome to join either platform at the paying level, I wanted to make sure there was an easy free way to keep tabs on me and keep an eye out for what's next :)

Monday and Foyle being cute in honor of the candy and sweethearts holiday :)

Sometimes you use google image search to get outfit inspiration for some art you're drawing and you find such a masterpiece of a sweater that you have to draw your character in it.

At least... I've heard this can happen.

My last two conventions of the year are coming up!

I will be at San Francisco Zinefest on September 3rd in Golden Gate Park with a table full of tiny zines and original watercolor mermaids in teacups. It's a more themed table than I usually do and I'm really excited to get to share off this flock of beauties. They look so pretty you guys ;_;

The following weekend I'll be at Rose City Comic Con in Portland from September 8-10 at table A-03 (map here). I will have all and sundry things including the debut of my second teamaids artbook/zine and a sketch zine of Missing Monday drawings, collecting my favorites from the June daily drawing exercise. I will also be offering tiny painting commissions in advance or on site, details about how to reserve a commission slot are posted here.

Looking forward to seeing some of you guys there!

(After I catch my breath I'll also update my con schedule for 2018, but so far I am waiting to finalize my spot in Emerald City 2018 and I just reserved my hotel for Clexacon in Vegas. So those two are happening for sure!)

Erstwhile volume 3 is now live on kickstarter!

Gina, Louisa and I have launched the kickstarter for the third and final volume of our fairytale anthology, Erstwhile! This volume collects the last 9 stories posted to our site and an all-new book exclusive short that I'll be illustrating if our project funds :D

This volume would include two of my all time favorite stories that I've adapted for Erstwhile: The Singing Springing Lark and The Twelve Huntsmen. Both comics center around adventurous female characters going on two very different quests to win back their beloveds. Hopefully we can get them into print! (At the time of the post we are SUPER CLOSE you guys! Just a little bit more and we can start aiming for stretch goals!)

In a last minute change of plans I'll be attending Fanime 2015 afterall! I'll be in the Artist Alley at table 220 with Erstwhile books, minicomics, jewelry, prints, and lots of little watercolors.

I'll be doing a limited number of tiny painting commissions while on site - interested folks should either email me in advance (cozyfire @ gmail) or swing by early in the weekend :)

It's a short story about seven baby goats left home alone for the afternoon and a very hungry wolf. New pages post every Monday and Thursday!
